Monoethylene Glycol (MEG)
The base glycol of antifreeze and polyester production.
CAS No 107-21-1Glycols & Glycol Ethers
Versatile polymeric glycol ranging from liquid to waxy by molecular weight.
PEG is a family of grades running from PEG 200 to PEG 6000 by molecular weight, liquid at the low end and waxy solid at the high end. It is used as a lubricant, binder and humectant across fields from textiles to pharmaceuticals. Because the CAS number varies with grade, the required molecular weight should be specified with the enquiry.
The product descriptions on this site are informational texts explaining where each product is used, and do not replace a technical specification. The binding information for formulation and process decisions is the technical data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS) of the batch delivered. Before moving to a new application we recommend requesting a sample and running a preliminary trial under your own conditions.
