Product description
Because it carries both a ketone and a hydroxyl group, diacetone alcohol is compatible with oil- and water-based systems alike. Its slow evaporation prevents the blushing defect seen in hot, humid conditions. It is used in cellulosic lacquers and screen inks to preserve gloss.
