CAS No 67-63-0Alcohols
Alcohol that raises both solvency and drying speed in printing inks.
n-Propanol offers higher solvency than ethanol or isopropanol, improving gloss and print definition in inks based on nitrocellulose and polyamide binders. It is used as a blend solvent to set the drying balance on high-speed presses. It also appears as a carrier in cosmetic and disinfectant formulations.
