White Spirit

Product description
White spirit is a predominantly aliphatic hydrocarbon blend from petroleum distillation and, not being a single substance, carries no single CAS number. It is the traditional reducer for oil paints and varnishes, its slow evaporation giving a long open time. Reduced-aromatic grades are preferred where odour is a concern.
