Product description
Butyl acetate has a profile balanced enough to serve as a reference on evaporation-rate scales, and it appears in almost every solvent-borne paint system. By lowering surface tension it improves film flow, giving gloss and smoothness. It is the standard thinning solvent for polyurethane and acrylic systems.
